We perform scheduled surgeries Monday through Thursday mornings. Drop off time for surgery is between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on the morning of surgery. We request any pets undergoing anesthesia not be fed after midnight the night beforehand but they may have water.
Our skilled veterinarians adhere to the highest level of care standards for all surgical procedures, and we place the utmost importance on pain management to ensure pets are as safe and comfortable as possible. Each patient's anesthesia and pain management protocol is individually tailored for their current age, medical history, and surgical procedure. In addition to monitoring by our trained veterinary nurses/technicians, we use monitors to record blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature. Our veterinary team performs surgeries ranging from sterilization, declawing, biopsies, tumor removal, laceration/wound repair, and minor eye procedures, to a variety of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures.
**Sterilization of a female (spay) or male (neuter) protects from pet overpopulation/unwanted breeding, and individually protects your pet from common cancers and illnesses associated with non-breeding, intact animals.
